HALIFAX, NS, Canada - June 3, 2009 - Export Nova Scotia Inc. (ExportNS), which provides sustainable transformation solutions to Caribbean governments, has appointed David Gough as its President. In this role, Mr. Gough will be responsible for Export Nova Scotia’s business growth and customer success.

In making the announcement, ExportNS Board Chair Sean Sears said, “Mr. Gough brings extensive experience in international business and is an ideal fit for this role.” Continues Sears, “David will be responsible for the leadership and management of our operations enabling us to drive for success in the Caribbean market.”

My past experience in international trade and strategic-partnering will be of assistance in helping us achieve these objectives".

Mr. Gough is currently the founder and President of GTG (Gough Technology Group) and Chair of the Atlantic Chapter at the American Chamber of Commerce in Canada (AmCham Canada), and a member of the US Chamber of Commerce. He is also a Partner at Tech East & East Coast Tech Connection and the Regional Manager, Atlantic Canada at The York Group. Prior to this, Mr. Gough had a successful corporate business development career with Xerox Corp., Sperry Corp., NCR Canada and local software and national technology firms.
